Dr. Shemmassian has received his doctorate degree from U.C.L.A, having Musa Dagh as the subject of his thesis. Currently he is the Principal of Merdinian Armenian Evangelical School in Los Angeles. Dr. Shemmassian is also working on couple of book projects about Musa Dagh.
