Where did Musa Daghians learn about silk?

A dozen or so youths especially from Bitias and Haji Habibli attended the Bursa Sericultural Institute in northwestern Turkey prior to 1914 to specialize in the silk industry. They studied for 2-3 years and wrote a thesis before returning to Musa Dagh.
