Bedros Herian

Bedros Hergelian. Writer, poet, and satirist.

He was born in Anjar in 1954. He has received his elementary and secondary education from "Harach" and Kalousd Gulbengian schools respectively. Later he has attended the HAMZKAYIN Foundation of Armenian Studies in Beirut.

"Badouhanen Tours" (Out of The Window), his first collection of poems, was published in 1972 when he was only 18. Herian was a contributor to "AZTAG" daily in Beirut. He also worked at "AZTAG" as a proof-reader.

Herian's literary works include "Youhoo", "Yev Yergir Bakanem", and "Parrh".

He died in 1987 at the age of 33.
